Typical Cases
Use default recognition parameters first. Here are some typical adjustments that may help.

Slow Melody

Try to increase the Minimal Note Duration up to 80...150ms.

Monophonic (one-voice) Melody
Use either Advanced Sensors with Monophonic flag, Correlators or FFT with Polyphony=1.

Many wrong notes that produce dissonances
Use an algorithm with Auto Tune feature or FFT. Switch to Peak note detection method.

Bass/percussion that covers main voices
Use Equalizer to weaken notes in bass range.

Many wrong high-pitched notes
Use Equalizer or use Harmonic Filter feature of Advanced Sensors algorithm.

Bass line is delayed after the treble voices
If using FFT - move Time Shift of Bass Slider to the left, other algorithms - to the right.

Too many wrong voices
Decrease Polyphony parameter.

Many notes are "eaten off"
Try to increase Polyphony parameter, switch off from Advanced Sensors algorithm or cancel Harmonic Filtering.
