For your convenience we have provided here a full list of TrueTone Editor menu commands:
Edit Cut – Cut selected notes. Copy – Copy selected notes to buffer. Paste – Paste buffer contents to the top of the screen. ------------------ Undo – Cancel last action. The number of prior actions that can be cancelled is unlimited. Redo – Repeat cancelled action. ------------------ Arrange -> Align Onsets Left - Align beginning of all selected notes by moving notes backward Align Ends - Align the ends of selected notes by increasing its duration without changing begin position ------------------ Delete – Delete selected notes Mute or Unmute – mute or give sound to selected notes ------------------ Quantize - invoke Quantization dialog Transpose – Transpose selected notes Velocity... - Open Change Velocity dialog ------------------ Note Properties - Bring up the Note Properties dialog for selected notes. New Note Properties - Bring up the Default Note Properties dialog. ------------------ Remove All Barlines - remove all bar lines.
View Time Ruler - Display or hide Time Ruler. Note Map – Display or hide Note Map. Track Editor – Display or hide Track Editor. Tips - Display or hide Tips window. Stave - Display or hide Score Editor. ------------------ Bar Grid – Show or hide bars in the Editing Area Bars on Timeline – Display bars numbers on Timeline Spectral Background - Show or hide spectral background in the editing area. Additional Note Info - Show or hide note name and velocity close to each note. ------------------ Cursor Ruler - Shows ruler cross attached to the cursor. ------------------ Make All Notes Visible – Make all hidden notes visible. ------------------ Composition Analysis - Invokes Composition Analysis dialog ------------------ Zoom In – Increase the zoom of the editing area in both dimensions. Zoom Out - Decrease the zoom of the editing area in both dimensions. Default Zoom - Set a default zoom for the editing area.
Tools Edit Tool – Use this tool for editing. Delete Tool – Use this tool for deleting notes. New Note Tool – Use this tool for creating new notes. Play Tool - This tool allows to play all notes at the time, indicated by the cursor ------------------ Tapping – Bring up the Tapping Tool for arrangement of bar-lines. ------------------ Glue Note Mode – Enable notes gluing. In this mode overlapping notes are merged into one.
Selection Select – Bring up the Note Filter dialog in Selection mode. Add to Selection - Bring up the Note Filter dialog in Add to Selection mode. Narrow Selection - Bring up the Note Filter dialog in Remove from Selection mode. ------------------ View First Selected Note - Display the first selected note. View Last Selected Note - Display the last selected note. ------------------ Add to Selection Mode – Add new notes to those already selected (this is also accomplished by hitting the Shift key). ------------------ Select All – Select all notes in musical piece. Invert Selection – Select all unselected notes and remove the selected notes from those selected. Select None – Remove selection from all notes.
Play Play To End – Play from current position to the end of piece. Play All – Play entire musical piece Play Screen – Play all of the musical piece visible in the Editing Area Play Selection – Play all selected notes Record - Record MIDI notes with keyboard. Stop – Stop play ------------------ MIDI – set MIDI only playing mode Audio – set Audio file playing mode Audio+MIDI – set MIDI and Audio to play in synchronicity MIDI Slowly – set MIDI to play at a reduced tempo ------------------ Loop Playback – Play again after reaching the end
Operations Create MIDI File – Create a MIDI file from the current contents of the Editor. Edit MIDI Properties... – Open the MIDI File Properties dialog. ------------------ Set Piece Length – Set the length of musical piece. With decreasing the length some notes may be lost. Associate with Audio… – Indicate the audio file corresponding to the contents of the Editor. ------------------ Open Associated Audio – Open the audio file associated with the contents of the Editor in the Audio Window.
Options TrueTone Editor Options – Bring up the TrueTone Editor Options dialog. ------------------ Customize Editor Toolbars – Set up the Editor Tool Panel. Customize Editor Colors – Bring up the Editor Color Settings dialog.
