We have published detailed step by step instruction on how to transcribe mp3 with WIDI Recognition System and get clear score as result. You can find this article here:

If some parts of the tutorial seem unclear or poorly worded, you are welcome to post your comments and suggestions here.

Leaning how to use this program is not trivial. I believe it would help to have the whole file to include the links able to be down loaded. Then one can work with the program and the file on an extended basis.
I think an overview what the program is doing and what you as a user need to to do would be most helpful.
As I understand the program, it converts the music file in to a large group of tonal ranges that correspond to a keyboard. You then need to apply some of the Widi "tools" to remove non-important short sound bands. You can use the equilizer to minimize sound bands that you are not interested in and amplify those that you are interested in. You can adjust timing issues and establish bars/measures. The final result is a product that can be exported to product like "Sibalius" for viewing or printing the standard notation.
Well this is what I figured out from the first time through the "step by step" tutorial. Undoubtedly I have missed many of the features. Additional readings will improve my understanding of the software.
It would be nice if you could import the final product into a program like TablEdit (not expensive) or you had a simple print out of the standard notation.

I think you are right. There are several overviews on our site, but none of them describes WIDI's functionality in complex. We will take into account your suggestion when modifying our site in the future.
This tutorial was published to answer very popular question - how to perform music recognition with WIDI. We tried to answer this question as detailed as possible, making all intermediate files available for downloading. It is recommended to repeat described steps in WIDI for fastest understanding of WIDI's functions.
MIDI file, produced with WIDI can be opened in any score editor, including TablEdit. Not all editors supports tempo-changing command, and the result is unreadable. However, Sibelius is not only editor you can use to open MIDI files without loosing bars information. I think it will be useful to add a list of score editors that supports bars to the tutorial.
